This is a large list of common problems and solutions, mostly error messages, related to software, C++, Linux, Python and all other - especially error messages so we can easily search them (or that search engines can find them if it's a new one)

Q:
Strange errors during compilation form gcc run by make after running cmake about not existing options, that look like several options lumped together.
e.g. something like 
g++-8.3: error: unrecognized command line option ‘-fPIE -Wnoexcept -Wstrict-null-sentinel -Wlogical-op -mmitigate-rop’

A:
This is fixed by putting all related compilation flags in quotes in the CMakeList file.

Q:
CMake Error: The following variables are used in this project, but they are set to NOTFOUND.

A: export GPG_TTY=$(tty) might solve it.
